Dobrze gdzieś mieć kogoś. Choćby po to, by było komu opowiedzieć historię dnia, który właśnie z tego powodu warto było przeżyć.

Kochać kogoś, to jak wprowadzić się do nowego domu. Na początku człowiek zachwyca się tym, co nowe, każdego ranka się dziwi, że to należy do niego, jakby się bał, że w każdej chwili ktoś może wpaść przez drzwi i powiedzieć, że zaszła pomyłka, że wcale nam nie przysługuje takie piękne mieszkanie. Ale z biegiem lat fasada niszczeje, tu i ówdzie drewno pęka i już kocha się ten dom nie za to, jaki jest doskonały, tylko raczej dlatego, że nie jest. Człowiek uczy się jego wszystkich kątów i zakamarków. Jak otwierać drzwi, żeby klucz nie blokował się w zamku, kiedy jest zimno na dworze. Które deski w podłodze się uginają, kiedy się po nich stąpa, i jak otwierać drzwi szafy, żeby nie skrzypiały. To właśnie to, te wszystkie małe tajemnice sprawiają, że to naprawdę jest twój dom.

Oprócz marzeń warto mieć też przy sobie kwiaty i pizzę w zamrażalniku, o.

Niech to, co umarło, pozostanie martwe, ale mam nadzieję, że skoro już obróciło się w proch, będzie stanowić żyzną glebę dla tego, co nowe. wiśniewski
